Are you considering studying surveying?
Hosted by RMIT University, this unique one hour event provides a fantastic opportunity for you to do practical surveying activities with the help of fully qualified surveyors.
You will see all the current surveying technology and equipment used in the industry including a digital level, total station, GPS and laser scanner. You’ll get the opportunity to do a practical activity measuring distance and use a precise surveying total station instrument to check your measurement.
This free event is open to Year 10-12 secondary students and school leavers considering surveying as a career path. Students will preferably have an interest and aptitude for mathematics and IT.
This year’s days run monthly from February through to December. Each session goes from 2pm for an hour on a Thursday afternoon.
