Professional Training Agreements Victoria
(2-3 years Part Time)
Professional Training Agreement (PTA) provides a mechanism to enable a Graduate Surveyor to progress to registration as a Licensed Surveyor in Victoria.
The purpose of the PTA is to provide a structured training program to assist a Graduate Surveyor with the continuation of education and training to develop their skills. This requires 360 days of supervised training, including a minimum of 240 Cadastral training days.
As part of the PTA, a Graduate Surveyor is required to submit an Urban and a Rural Cadastral Survey as well as completing the Cadastral Law Project and Professional Assessment Project. Projects are to be submitted to the Board within 3 years of the commencement date of the PTA. The final stage of the Agreement is the Professional Practice Examination, which involves an interview with a panel of Board Members.
