Late 2009, the Surveying Task Force ran their first student Surveying day in conjunction with Regional Industry Career Advisors in Mulgrave, Victoria and staff from Surveying firm, Survey 21.

20 maths students from two local schools attended and were mentored by Surveyors to undertake a variety of measuring and distance activities using various Surveying equipment.
